“The Sprite ads from the 90s into the 2000s always hit a lil different for me. They had this undeniable cool factor, especially in how they collaborated with some of my favorite visual artists and spotlighted the rappers and athletes who defined that era. Back then, getting a Sprite deal felt like a badge of honor in rap culture. Working with Sprite now has been an incredible experience. It’s given me the chance to create an entire world of special moments and unique items—all through the lens of my brand. Just slapping my logo on something would’ve felt like a total disservice. This is the first in a series of short ideas between JFG and @Sprite, with the debut video titled “Father & Son.”
