“Performance art” 2022
The legendary 990 series was introduced as New Balance set out to carve a lane in high-performance sneakers. Originally intended for runners, the iconic silhouette became a renowned fashion staple, as we adopted it through self-expression, the art of taking it and making it our own. While the 990 has its intended purpose, through alternative manifestation, we let the world in, to see just how we perform.
